Samaya Anjum is a policy researcher and writer exploring the intersections of technology, human rights, and migration. She is currently a Policy & Communications Associate at the Global Network Initiative, contributing to digital rights research and advocacy. Her work includes open-source investigation and media analysis through the Bangladesh chapter of the Civic Media Observatory, as well as reporting and commentary for various regional and international publications. Her research has focused on digital governance, media, and forced migration across South, Southeast, and Central Asia. She has an academic background in political science, socio-legal studies, and public policy, and has contributed to projects in Asia and Europe.
