Giovana Fleck works on the intersection of journalism, research, and advocacy, using storytelling as a catalyst for change. Her work spans critical areas, including human rights, technology, and digital policy, with a commitment to uncovering and disseminating impactful narratives. Giovana possesses a strong track record of conducting in-depth, open-source investigations and employing rigorous narrative and policy analysis. For the past years, she has been leading Global Voices' Civic Media Observatory and working as an editor for stories about the Lusophone Africa region. Currently, she works as the advocacy lead at RNW Media.
