Heather Remacle is a strategic generalist and facilitator with over 20 years in public service, helping government make better decisions in better ways. She is currently the Senior Director of Lab Services and Connected Services for the Government of British Columbia.
Heather brings deep expertise in citizen engagement, organizational development, and agile methods. At The Exchange Lab, she built high-performing teams to deliver digital services that model new ways of working in and with the public sector. Her work continues to support a shift toward more adaptive, inclusive, and responsive government systems, with emphasis on governance and organizational conditions.
She is passionate about social innovation in the face of emerging global challenges—from reconciliation to climate instability and the ethical use of AI. Heather believes public servants need new tools and mindsets to meet the evolving needs of the people they serve, while holding the core values and accountabilities of public service steady.
