Jesse Samasuwo is Apolitical’s senior manager for government insights. His work focuses on researching and understanding the capabilities governments need to build to be effective in a world reshaped by digital technologies. He led the development of the UK Government’s ‘Digital Excellence Programme’ for senior civil servants; the 2024 ‘State of Learning in Government’ report involving 2,000 public servants; and, most recently, insights on government AI readiness, based on data from 5,000 public servants globally.
