Abigail Haddad is an independent data engineer. She builds tools using government data, including personnel, budget, and contracting data. Her recent work includes a pipeline that pulls OPM personnel data and publishes it on Hugging Face for easier use, a tracker for federal contract terminations, and an LLM framework for analyzing public comments on regulations.

Previously, she created testing for DHSChat at the DHS AI Corps and was a senior data scientist at Army FM&C. She has a PhD in public policy from Pardee RAND. She writes about government tech and data engineering at The Present of Coding on Substack.
