Une perspective historique de l'inclusion au Canada

Description disponible en anglais uniquement.

Digital technology holds tremendous potential for improving fairness in society. From offering access to the disabled, to bringing medicine and manufacturing to the far North, to encouraging participatory democracy, to sharing data with stakeholders in easy, transparent formats, it can deliver on the promises of open government and citizen engagement. At the same time, if not properly governed, it can widen the digital divide, marginalize segments of the population, reinforce systemic injustice, and lead to algorithms that undermine equality.

In this session, we'll look at the promises and pitfalls of a move to digital government.
