AI isn't just an app, or a new kind of software: it's a new kind of computing. It does the unexpected. It can train smarter versions of itself. So far, the more it scales, the smarter it is. And while we're all thinking about how to apply it to our jobs—or even whether we'll have jobs next year—there's a far bigger set of decisions to make.
