Smart Teams, Simple Rules: How Multidisciplinary teams contribute to Lean Policy Design

Policy and technology teams traditionally work in silos. Requirements are written, software is built, and meanwhile legislation is written, amended, added to, and amended again… creating the need to retrofit solutions through expensive change requests or workarounds and manual processes.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. In this workshop we’ll use examples from real government policy initiatives to show how multidisciplinary teams can break free from this pattern, combining their deep understanding of policy intent, expertise in learning about user needs and behaviour, and the power to deliver.
