Jamie Joyce is the department director for the U.S. division of Democracy's Library at the Internet Archive. Democracy's Library is an effort to collect as much municipal, state, and federal government documents, datasets, research, records, and publications as possible, in the U.S. and internationally. Before being hired to run the program, Jamie lead a small team to perform a rapid landscape analysis on the field of government documentation; diagnosing over 70 ways our knowledge management in the U.S. is challenged, broken, or not linked. Jamie has consulted with numerous government leaders as well as leaders across the GLAM sector to gain such insights.
