Uchenna Moka-Solana is the founder and president of MokSol Impact, a strategy and technology consultancy that helps government agencies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations close the gap between what they exist to do and how they actually work. MokSol's approach starts with mission and accountability, not technology. Technology is the last question, not the first.
Uchenna has spent nearly twenty years inside organizations trying to do hard, important things, and the pattern is always the same: the mission is clear, the people are talented, but somewhere between the strategy and the delivery, things break down. Her career has been built on finding those breakdowns and redesigning how the work flows. She has served as Acting Executive Director and Director of Product of 18F at GSA, leading over 150 technologists and a $32M federal portfolio, as the first CTO of a national non-profit, and as the co-founder of ThoughtWorks' Pan-African operations. She trained as a biomedical engineer at Northwestern University and serves on the FWD50 board of directors.
